Yolanda started her medical career shortly after graduating high school, finding her passion as a medical assistant. This interest sparked her determination and commitment to a lifelong career in the medical profession. In 2010, Yolanda graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Over the next 10 years, Yolanda worked in various settings, including years with the pediatric population. In 2020, Yolanda earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. This rigorous study allowed her to be certified as a family nurse practitioner.
Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Yolanda took her work to the indigent population of Dallas, Texas. She provided them with primary care and women’s health services. Working with such a diverse group of individuals, Yolanda is able to bring this unmatched skill to Dr. De Leon’s practice.
